Bank of Japan's Haruhiko Kuroda says Japan benefits greatly from oil price fall - The Economic Times

TOKYO: Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda said on Thursday that recent declines in oil prices have great benefits for Japan's economy and will help to accelerate inflation in the long run. "Japan is making steady progress in shaking off its deflationary mindset," Kuroda told a meeting of Keidanren, Japan's biggest business lobby . He urged business executives to raise wages to help ensure an end to deflation that has plagued Japan for more than a decade.
